I'll be straight with you — I've been in the e-bike business for about six years. Before Mokwheel Factory Store, I carried other brands. I worked hard, I sold bikes, and I got burned. A lot.

Warranties that weren't honored. Margins squeezed so tight I was barely making money on bikes I was busting my ass to move. Manufacturers withholding their best colors and newest models so they could sell direct online while I sat on inventory nobody was asking for.

By 2023 I was genuinely asking myself: is a brick-and-mortar e-bike shop even viable anymore?

The answer turned out to be yes — but only when you're partnered with the right brand. Here's why I went all-in on Mokwheel, and why it changed everything for our store and for our customers here in Oregon.

The Product

Mokwheel's specs-to-price ratio is something I hadn't seen before at this price point. When I first started digging into the lineup I kept thinking — this shouldn't be this good for what it costs. Torque sensor integration, battery capacity, build quality — these aren't corners being cut to hit a number. These are bikes Mokwheel is genuinely proud of. And as a dealer, that matters enormously because your reputation is tied to what you sell.

The People

My relationship with Mokwheel — the owners, the staff — has been real since day one. Same people. No revolving door of reps who don't know my name or my store. I still talk to the CEO every week or two. For a brand this size, that kind of access and consistency is rare. It tells me they're building something for the long haul, not just moving units.
