Care & Coverage

Everything that keeps your Mokwheel rolling, backed by real people you can visit.

01

Battery charging

use only the Blix-supplied charger in a dry, ventilated indoor space; Blix recommends charging often, especially between rides, and keeping the pack roughly in the 20-80% range for everyday longevity.

02

Battery storage

don't leave the battery fully discharged for long periods, and store it in a dry, temperature-controlled area away from water and extreme heat or cold; regular use helps maintain battery health.

03

Tires

keep tires inflated to the pressure range on the sidewall and check before rides; proper pressure improves range, handling, and flat resistance.

04

Chain and drivetrain

keep the chain clean and lubricated and wipe off excess lube; a clean drivetrain shifts better and lasts longer, especially on the heavier cargo (Packa) models.

05

Brakes

check lever feel and pad wear regularly and have brakes adjusted when stopping power drops; this is especially important on loaded cargo bikes and for riders carrying passengers.

06

Bolts and torque

periodically check key fasteners (stem, bars, seatpost, wheels, rack, and folding hinges/clamps on the Vika) and tighten to the values in your Blix manual; verify folding-bike latches are fully secured before every ride.

07

Cleaning and connectors

clean with mild soap and a soft cloth, dry thoroughly, and keep electrical connectors clean and dry; avoid high-pressure water on the motor, battery, and display.

08

Service intervals

a periodic professional tune-up (about once a year for typical use, sooner for heavy/cargo use) keeps brakes, drivetrain, and electrical connections in good shape; do a quick pre-ride check of tires, brakes, and battery charge.

Frequently Asked

Answers to the questions we hear most from riders.

Can Mokwheel service my Blix even if I didn't buy it here?
Absolutely. We service all brands, and Blix bikes use standard bicycle systems for brakes, drivetrain, wheels, and cables that we work on regularly. For motor, controller, or battery warranty questions we'll diagnose the issue and help you coordinate with Blix as needed.
How should I care for my Blix battery to make it last?
Charge it with the Blix charger, top it off between rides, and try to keep it roughly between 20% and 80% for daily use rather than routinely running it to empty. Store it indoors in a dry, moderate-temperature spot, and bring it in if you notice a sudden, significant drop in range so we can test the pack and charger.
My folding Vika feels loose at the hinge. Is that normal?
Folding joints and clamps can develop play over time and should be checked and adjusted so they lock securely. Bring it in and we'll inspect and adjust the hinge and latch hardware to the correct tension so it folds and rides safely.
My Packa cargo bike's brakes feel weaker when I'm loaded up. What should I check?
Heavier cargo loads put more demand on the brakes, so pad wear and proper adjustment matter more. We can inspect pads and rotors, adjust or bleed the brakes as needed, and confirm everything is dialed in for the loads you carry.
Do you stock Blix parts and batteries?
We stock the common wear items (pads, tubes, tires, cables, chains) that fit most e-bikes, and we can source Blix-specific parts like batteries and chargers through the brand when needed. We'll always let you know upfront what's in stock versus what needs to be ordered.
Can I hose off my Blix after a muddy ride?
Use a gentle rinse or a damp cloth with mild soap rather than a pressure washer, and keep water away from the battery contacts, motor, and display. Dry it off and re-lube the chain afterward to prevent rust and keep shifting smooth.
