Super73 E-Bike Service & Care
Mokwheel E-Bikes
Super73
Built To Ride.
Super73 is a Southern California brand known for its distinctive moto-inspired, banana-seat e-bikes that blend bicycle and minibike styling. Popular models span the entry Z-series (Z Miami, ZX), the flagship S-series (S1, S2), the RX, and the K1D, most with fat tires and a long single seat. They use rear hub motors with removable lithium-ion battery packs and, on many models, app connectivity with selectable ride modes/classes.
What You Get
Care & Coverage
Everything that keeps your Mokwheel rolling, backed by real people you can visit.
Battery charging & storage
Charge and store the battery on a dry, non-flammable surface, never in a flammable environment. Don't leave the pack outside or in high heat or direct sunlight for long periods; like any lithium-ion battery it loses some capacity over its charge/discharge life, so store it indoors at a partial charge for long layoffs.
Tire pressure
Super73 recommends keeping tire pressure in roughly the 20–25 psi (1.38–1.72 bar) range depending on rider weight and terrain. Check before rides and stay within the range on the tire sidewall.
Chain & drivetrain
Keep the chain clean and lubricated with bicycle chain lube, wiping away excess. Because these bikes are heavy and often ridden hard, inspect the chain, sprocket, and (on single-speed models) tension regularly.
Brakes
Check lever feel and pad wear frequently. Super73 bikes are heavy and fast, so brakes are safety-critical — replace pads before they wear out and confirm rotors are true and uncontaminated.
Bolt & torque checks
Verify stem, handlebar, seat, axle, and accessory hardware are tightened to the values in your model's Owner's Handbook, re-checking after assembly and after hard or off-road riding.
Cleaning
Do not clean with a strong water jet, steam, or high-pressure spray, and take particular care never to spray water on or near the battery, as it can damage the pack and create a fire risk. Use a damp cloth and mild cleaner, then dry the bike.
Firmware/app
Many Super73 models connect to the Super73 app for ride modes, class settings, and updates — keep firmware current, since it can affect assist behavior and legal class settings.
Service intervals
Follow the assembly & maintenance schedule in your model's Owner's Handbook; in practice a professional tune-up every few months or few hundred miles (sooner for aggressive or off-road riders) keeps brakes, drivetrain, and fasteners safe.
