Full Rack Assembly
Rack fully assembled from box to ready-to-mount — all components installed to manufacturer spec with the correct tools. No guessing, no missing steps.
Vehicle Fit Verification
We confirm your rack is compatible with your vehicle before mounting. Hitch class, roof rail spacing, trunk clearance — all checked against your specific car.
Torque-to-Spec Mounting
Every mounting point torqued to manufacturer spec with a calibrated torque wrench. Not hand-tight — properly tight. The difference matters at highway speed.
Vehicle Paint Protection
Protective pads and contact points checked and properly positioned. Your car's finish is protected throughout the install process.
Security Lock Setup
Lock cores installed, keys tested, locking mechanisms verified on all attachment points. Your rack and bikes are as secure as the system allows.
Load Arm & Cradle Adjustment
Wheel trays, load arms, and cradles adjusted and set to the correct width for your e-bike. Proper fit prevents shifting and protects your bike in transit.
Tilt & Fold Function Test
If your rack has a tilt-away or fold-down feature, we test it fully loaded to confirm it operates correctly and doesn't interfere with trunk access.
Load Test & Sign-Off
Rack loaded to simulate real-world use and checked for movement, rattle, or instability. If it doesn't pass our safety check, we fix it before you leave.

Add the Rack Install service when you purchase your rack — in store or online. We'll set up the install at your preferred Mokwheel location.

We Install It
Our certified technicians fully assemble your rack and mount it to your vehicle to spec. Most installs are completed same-day within 1–2 hours.

Load Test
Every rack is load-tested before sign-off. We check for movement, rattle, and security under simulated load before you drive off.

Drive Away
Pick up your vehicle with a rack that's 100% safe and ready to haul. We'll walk you through loading, locking, and any tilt features before you go.

We install hitch racks, roof racks, trunk/hatch mounts, and truck bed racks — all brands. Thule, Kuat, RockyMounts, 1UP, Yakima, Saris, and more. If you bought it, we'll mount it.
Most rack installs are completed same-day within 1–2 hours. Hitch installs and complex roof setups may take a little longer. Call ahead if you're on a tight schedule — we're open Wed–Sun at both locations.
Absolutely. Bring your rack in the box or already assembled — we'll handle the mounting. We install racks purchased anywhere, not just Mokwheel Factory Store.
Every rack install is load-tested with simulated weight before you drive off. We check for movement, rattle, and security at all attachment points. If anything isn't right, we fix it before you leave. If you experience an install-related issue within 30 days, bring it back — we'll make it right at no cost.
Walk-ins are welcome. For roof rack systems or complex multi-bike hitch setups, a quick call ahead is helpful so we can confirm we have time for you. We're open Wednesday through Sunday at both Portland (Tualatin) and Eugene.
We check all rack components before starting the install. If anything is missing or damaged, we'll flag it immediately and help you contact the manufacturer for a replacement before we proceed.
Yes. If there's ever an issue directly related to our installation workmanship within 30 days, bring it back and we'll fix it at no charge. We stand behind every install we do.
