ASPHALT
Built for the road ahead. A 500W motor with 860W peak power, 70Nm+ torque, and wide 27.5×2.4" all-road tires — the go-anywhere electric commuter for Portland pavement, Willamette Valley paths, and everything between.
The hardest part of your first e-bike isn't the price. It's the risk.
Buy an e-bike online and it shows up in a box with no one to call, no one to fix it, and no way to try it first. We build the fix into the purchase — every Asphalt comes with three things free.
Ride It Before You Buy
Walk in and throw a leg over any bike on the floor — no appointment, no deposit, no pressure. Helmet and orientation provided.
Free test rides · Portland & EugeneProBuild Assembly
Our techs run a 25-point build: every bolt torqued, brakes and spokes aligned, electrical checked, supervisor sign-off. No cardboard box, no guesswork.
Included with every Asphalt14-Day Ride-Ready Return
Take it home, ride your own neighborhood and hills for two weeks. Swap models or return it if it's not the one — just talk to us.
Risk-free, right here in OregonPower where you want it. Comfort everywhere else.
The Asphalt is built around three ideas: strong, quiet power, a plush all-road ride, and a bike that's ready for the real world the day you take it home. Here's how it pulls that off.
500W · 860W Peak
A punchy rear-hub motor with 860W of peak power for confident starts and steady pulling up Portland's steepest climbs.
70Nm+ Torque
Serious low-end grunt gets you off the line fast and holds speed on grades — loaded with groceries or gear, it doesn't flinch.
Up to 60 Miles
A 48V 14.7Ah (~706Wh) battery delivers up to 60 miles per charge. Commute all week on a single top-up.
Up to 28 MPH
28 MPH on pedal assist, 20 MPH on throttle — quick enough to keep pace with city traffic when you need to.
Shimano 7-Speed
A reliable Shimano 7-speed gives you a real gear range to spin easy or push hard, on flats and climbs alike.
TEKTRO Hydraulic Disc
Hydraulic disc brakes for confident, all-weather stopping power. Wet leaves, gravel, wet pavement — no problem.
27.5" × 2.4" All-Road
Wide 2.4" tires soak up rough city pavement, bike-path cracks, and light gravel — more cushion than a skinny commuter tire.
Torque + Cadence Sensor
Dual-sensor system reads how hard you're pedaling, not just whether you are. Acceleration feels natural — never jerky.
Fenders + Rear Rack
Comes set up for real-world riding: full fenders for wet Oregon roads and a rear rack for panniers, bags, and cargo.
Big power, real range, ready to ride.
If you want a commuter that keeps up with traffic, climbs without complaint, and still goes the distance, the Asphalt's numbers make the case.
Confident starts and hill-climbing pull.
Up to 60 miles on a single charge.
Quick enough to keep pace in the city.
Real gear range for flats and climbs.
Every spec, no hand-waving.
The full Asphalt build sheet. Bring questions in-store and we'll walk you through any of it.
That Has Your Back.
We sell at the same price as online — on purpose — then hand you a bike that's built, tuned, and backed by a local team you can actually walk in and talk to.
Test ride it. Then ride it home today.
Mokwheel Factory Store is Oregon's official Mokwheel dealership. Your Asphalt is professionally assembled and inspected, your warranty is fully valid, and you have a local team to call or visit for support — not a call center or a return shipping label. No shipping wait, no box to build. Ride out the same day.
Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of e-bike is the Mokwheel Asphalt?
It's a powerful all-road urban commuter. A 500W motor (860W peak) with 70Nm+ torque and wide 27.5×2.4" tires make it quick and comfortable on city pavement, bike paths, and light gravel — a more capable, planted ride than a skinny-tire commuter, without going full fat-tire.

Who is the Asphalt built for?
Riders who want strong power and real range for daily commuting and weekend cruising. The 860W peak motor and 7-speed gearing handle Portland's hills, the wide tires keep it comfortable over rough roads, and it comes with fenders and a rear rack so it's ready for real-world use.
What colors does it come in?
Orange, Denim, and Khaki. Come into either store and we'll help you find the right one — and let you ride it before you decide.
Can I test ride the Asphalt before buying?
Yes — free test rides are available at both our Tualatin (Portland area) and Eugene stores. Walk in, no appointment needed. Feel what 860W of peak power and the wide all-road tires do in real conditions before you decide.
Do I pay more than buying online?
No. As an authorized Mokwheel dealer we sell at the same price as the online store — on purpose. The difference is what you get for it: a bike that's professionally built and tuned, a free test ride, and a local team behind you. Same price, ready to ride today.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — 0% APR financing through Affirm, starting around $94/month. Check your rate without affecting your credit score. Ask us in-store or use Affirm at checkout.
What does "ProBuild" mean?
Every bike goes through a 25-point professional build before it leaves the store — normally a $99 service, free with your Asphalt. We torque every bolt, align the brakes and spokes, check all the electrical, and a supervisor signs off. You ride out on a bike that's ready, not a half-assembled box.
What's your return / exchange policy?
You've got 14 days to return or exchange. Take it home, ride your own neighborhood and hills — if it's not the one, come talk to us early and we'll make it right.
How far can it really go on a charge?
Up to 60 miles from the 48V 14.7Ah (~706Wh) battery, depending on assist level, terrain, rider weight, and wind. For most commutes that's several days of riding between charges, and you can top up from any standard wall outlet.
Do you service the Asphalt at your stores?
Yes. Our Tualatin service center handles tune-ups, brake work, tire changes, battery diagnostics, and more for Mokwheel bikes. Eugene customers can schedule service too — call ahead to confirm availability.
What warranty does it come with?
Mokwheel's 2-year manufacturer warranty covers the frame and electrical components. As your authorized local dealer, we're your point of contact — you don't ship your bike anywhere or figure it out alone.
Where are you located?
Portland area (Tualatin): our primary showroom — full inventory, service center, and free test rides. Open Tue–Sun, 10am–7pm. Eugene: serving the Willamette Valley, open Wed–Sun, 12pm–6pm. Check our Contact page for directions.
