BASALT 2.0
Conquer every terrain. A 750W fat-tire adventure e-bike that doubles as a portable power station — sand, snow, trails, and city streets, then run your gear off the battery when you get there.
The hardest part of your first e-bike isn't the price. It's the risk.
Buy an e-bike online and it shows up in a box with no one to call, no one to fix it, and no way to try it first. We build the fix into the purchase — every Basalt 2.0 comes with three things free.
Ride It Before You Buy
Walk in and throw a leg over any bike on the floor — no appointment, no deposit, no pressure. Feel the fat tires and torque sensor on real Oregon pavement first. Helmet and orientation provided.
Free test rides · Portland & EugeneProBuild Assembly
Our techs run a 25-point build: every bolt torqued, brakes and spokes aligned, suspension and electrical checked, supervisor sign-off. No cardboard box, no guesswork.
Included with every Basalt 2.014-Day Ride-Ready Return
Take it home, ride your own trails, gravel, and hills for two weeks. Swap models or return it if it's not the one — just talk to us.
Risk-free, right here in OregonAn adventure e-bike that carries its own power plant.
The Basalt 2.0 is built around three ideas: go anywhere on fat tires, climb anything with real torque, and carry usable power with you. Here's how it pulls that off.
Bike That Powers Your Gear
The Basalt pioneered the power-station e-bike. Add the optional inverter kit and the big 940Wh battery runs your phone, lights, tools, or a coffee maker off-grid — solar-chargeable, too.
750W · 1100W Peak · 90Nm+
A high-torque rear hub motor pulls you up loose climbs and out of soft sand from a dead stop. Confident, planted power for real backcountry terrain.
Up to 80 Miles
A 48V 19.6Ah / 940Wh battery delivers 60–80 miles per charge. Ride all day on trails or knock out a week of errands on a single top-up.
26" × 4.0" Fat Tires
Puncture-resistant fat tires float over sand, snow, mud, and gravel, then soak up cracked city pavement. Traction and stability on every surface.
110mm Adjustable Fork
Lock it out for smooth pavement, open it up for rocks and roots. Adjustable front suspension keeps the front wheel tracking on rough ground.
Torque + Cadence Sensor
A dual-sensor system with 5 assist levels reads how hard you're pedaling, not just whether you are. Power delivery feels natural — never jerky.
TEKTRO Hydraulic Disc
TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes deliver confident, all-weather stopping power with a loaded bike. Wet leaves, gravel, steep descents — no drama.
Shimano 7-Speed
A reliable Shimano 7-speed drivetrain gives you real gears for climbing and cruising, backing up the motor when you want to put in the work.
Fenders + Rear Rack
Ships with fenders and a rear rack already fitted, plus a 350 lb payload and IPX6 weatherproofing. Set up for real-world Pacific Northwest riding.
Built to go far and haul power.
Big battery, big torque, big tires. If you're riding trails, hauling gear, or want backup power off-grid, the Basalt 2.0's spec sheet does the talking.

48V 19.6Ah battery, solar-chargeable.
750W / 1100W peak hub motor.

The numbers that matter on the trail.
Fat-tire stability, real gears, adjustable suspension, and a battery big enough to double as backup power. Everything here is stock on every Basalt 2.0.
That Has Your Back.
We sell at the same price as online — on purpose — then hand you a bike that's built, tuned, and backed by a local team you can actually walk in and talk to.
Test ride it. Then ride it home today.
Mokwheel Factory Store is Oregon's official Mokwheel dealership. Your Basalt 2.0 is professionally assembled and inspected, your warranty is fully valid, and you have a local team to call or visit for support — not a call center or a return shipping label. No shipping wait, no box to build. Ride out the same day.

What is the Basalt 2.0's power-station feature?
The Basalt was the world's first power-station e-bike. With the optional inverter kit, the big 48V 940Wh battery becomes a portable power station — it can run your phone, lights, power tools, or a coffee maker off-grid, and it's solar-chargeable. It's a fat-tire adventure e-bike and a backup power source in one.

Who is the Basalt 2.0 built for?
Riders who want to go anywhere and want power when they get there — trail riders, hunters and anglers, campers, and anyone who values a bike that doubles as off-grid backup power. The fat tires handle sand, snow, mud, and gravel, and the 350 lb payload leaves room for rider plus gear.
What colors are available?
Grey, Jungle Camo, Blue, and Phantom Black. Come into either store and we'll help you find the right fit and color.
Can I test ride the Basalt 2.0 before buying?
Yes — free test rides are available at both our Tualatin (Portland area) and Eugene stores. Walk in, no appointment needed. Feel the fat tires, the torque, and the assist on real Oregon terrain before you decide.
Do I pay more than buying online?
No. As an authorized Mokwheel dealer we sell at the same price as the online store — $1,699 — on purpose. The difference is what you get for it: a bike that's professionally built and tuned, a free test ride, and a local team behind you. Same price, ready to ride today.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — 0% APR financing through Affirm, starting around $106/month. Check your rate without affecting your credit score. Ask us in-store or use Affirm at checkout.
What does "ProBuild" mean?
Every bike goes through a 25-point professional build before it leaves the store — normally a $99 service, free with your Basalt 2.0. We torque every bolt, align the brakes and spokes, set the suspension, check all the electrical, and a supervisor signs off. It ships ready to ride with fenders and a rear rack fitted — no half-assembled box.
What's your return / exchange policy?
You've got 14 days to return or exchange. Take it home, ride your own trails and hills — if it's not the one, come talk to us early and we'll make it right.
Can the battery really power appliances?
Yes, with the optional inverter kit. Connect the inverter (and a solar panel if you want renewable top-ups) and the Basalt's 940Wh battery powers everyday devices — phones, lights, small appliances, and battery packs. It's genuinely useful for camping, tailgating, or an outage.
Do you service the Basalt 2.0 at your stores?
Yes. Our Tualatin service center handles tune-ups, brake work, tire changes, suspension, and battery diagnostics for Mokwheel bikes. Eugene customers can schedule service too — call ahead to confirm availability.
What warranty does it come with?
Mokwheel's 2-year manufacturer warranty covers the frame and electrical components. As your authorized local dealer, we're your point of contact — you don't ship your bike anywhere or figure it out alone.
Where are you located?
Portland area (Tualatin): our primary showroom — full inventory, service center, and free test rides. Open Tue–Sun, 10am–7pm. Eugene: serving the Willamette Valley, open Wed–Sun, 12pm–6pm. Check our Contact page for directions.
