BASALT ST 2.0
Adventure, made easy. A 750W step-through fat-tire e-bike with up to 80 miles of range — and a battery that doubles as an off-grid power station. Sand, snow, gravel, or city streets, ride in and out the same day.
The hardest part of your first e-bike isn't the price. It's the risk.
Buy an e-bike online and it shows up in a box with no one to call, no one to fix it, and no way to try it first. We build the fix into the purchase — every Basalt ST 2.0 comes with three things free.
Ride It Before You Buy
Walk in and throw a leg over the Basalt on the floor — no appointment, no deposit, no pressure. Helmet and orientation provided. Feel the fat tires and 750W torque before you decide.
Free test rides · Portland & EugeneProBuild Assembly
Our techs run a 25-point build: every bolt torqued, brakes and spokes aligned, electrical checked, supervisor sign-off. Fenders and rear rack fitted. No cardboard box, no guesswork.

Risk-free, right here in OregonOne bike. Every terrain. Off-grid power.
The Basalt ST 2.0 is Mokwheel's flagship fat-tire adventure e-bike — a step-through frame, a 750W motor, and a big battery that can run your gear when the grid can't. Here's what it's made of.
750W · 90Nm Torque
High-power rear hub motor with up to 1100W peak. Instant torque for loaded climbs, soft sand, and Oregon trailheads — no fuss, no drama.
Off-Grid Ready
The 941Wh battery doubles as a portable power station. Add the optional 1000W inverter (and folding solar) to run gear, tools, and camp devices off-grid.
Up to 80 Miles
A 48V 19.6Ah (941Wh) battery delivers up to 80 miles per charge. Plug into any wall outlet or top up from the sun on longer adventures.
26" × 4.0" Fat Tires
Big-volume fat tires float over sand, snow, mud, and gravel while soaking up rough pavement. Traction and comfort in one.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Confident, all-weather stopping power fully loaded. Wet leaves, gravel descents, wet pavement — the Basalt hauls down predictably.
Shimano 7-Speed
A simple, reliable 7-speed cassette pairs with pedal assist for a wide, usable range across flats, climbs, and everything between.
Step-Through 6061 Alloy
A low, lightweight 6061 aluminum step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting effortless — easy on knees, hips, and loaded starts.
IPX6 · Fenders + Rack
Built for Pacific Northwest reality with an IPX6 water-resistance rating. Fenders and a rear rack come fitted for real-world riding and hauling.
350 lb Payload
Room for rider, gear, and cargo. Load the rack for a grocery run, a campsite haul, or a Willamette Valley day trip.

No shipping wait, no box to build. Ride out the same day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Mokwheel Factory Store · Portland (Tualatin) & Eugene, OR. Still have questions? Call, text, or stop by — our team rides what we sell.
What is the Basalt ST 2.0 and who is it for?
The Basalt ST 2.0 is Mokwheel's flagship fat-tire adventure e-bike in a step-through frame — a low, easy-mount design that makes getting on and off effortless. With a 750W motor, 26" × 4.0" fat tires, and up to 80 miles of range, it's built for riders who want one bike that handles sand, snow, mud, mountain trails, and city streets alike.
How does the power-station feature work?
The Basalt's 48V 941Wh battery can do more than drive the motor. Add the optional 1000W power inverter — and, if you like, folding solar panels — and the bike becomes an off-grid power station you can use to run gear and charge devices, or even recharge the bike itself from the sun. The inverter and solar are optional add-on accessories.

Do I pay more than buying online?
No. As an authorized Mokwheel dealer we sell at the same price as the online store — on purpose. The difference is what you get for it: a bike that's professionally built and tuned with fenders and rack fitted, a free test ride, and a local team behind you. Same price, ready to ride today.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — 0% APR financing through Affirm, around $112/month on the Basalt ST 2.0. Check your rate without affecting your credit score. Ask us in-store or use Affirm at checkout.
What does "ProBuild" mean?
Every bike goes through a 25-point professional build before it leaves the store — normally a $99 service, free with your Basalt ST 2.0. We torque every bolt, align the brakes and spokes, fit the fenders and rack, check all the electrical, and a supervisor signs off. You ride out on a bike that's ready, not a half-assembled box.
What's your return / exchange policy?
You've got 14 days to return or exchange — our "Love the Ride" guarantee. Take it home, ride your own trails and hills — if it's not the one, come talk to us early and we'll make it right.
Is the Basalt ST 2.0 good for Oregon weather and trails?
Yes. It carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating and comes with fenders and a rear rack fitted, and the 26" × 4.0" fat tires handle wet pavement, gravel, sand, mud, and snow. It's built for Pacific Northwest riding, from Portland streets to Willamette Valley trails.
Do you service the Basalt at your stores?
Yes. Our Tualatin service center handles tune-ups, brake work, tire changes, battery diagnostics, and more for Mokwheel bikes. Eugene customers can schedule service too — call ahead to confirm availability.
What warranty does it come with?
Mokwheel's 2-year manufacturer warranty covers the frame and electrical components. As your authorized local dealer, we're your point of contact — you don't ship your bike anywhere or figure it out alone.
Where are you located?
Portland area (Tualatin): our primary showroom — full inventory, service center, and free test rides. Open Tue–Sun, 10am–7pm. Eugene: serving the Willamette Valley, open Wed–Sun, 12pm–6pm. Check our Contact page for directions.
