Mokwheel Scoria Ebike — Compact Power, Built for Real Life
The Scoria is Mokwheel's most versatile 20-inch fat tire e-bike, designed for riders who want serious performance in a compact, easy-to-handle package. Whether you're commuting to work, running errands, hauling gear, or exploring back roads, the Scoria is built to handle it all — and then some.
Why the Scoria?
Most e-bikes make you choose between power and portability. The Scoria doesn't. Its 20-inch frame fits riders from 5'0" to 6'2", parks anywhere, and maneuvers through city streets with ease — while still packing a 750W motor, fat tires, and a battery that'll take you up to 80 miles on a single charge.
Power That Delivers
The 750W motor (1100W peak, 90Nm+ torque) gives you strong, immediate pull off the line. Hills, headwinds, full loads — the Scoria climbs and carries without breaking a sweat. The dual torque and cadence sensors mean the assist feels natural and responsive, not jerky or delayed.
Range You Can Count On
The 48V 19.6Ah (940Wh) battery is UL-certified and IPX7 waterproof. With a range of 60–80 miles, you can ride all day without worrying about range anxiety. When you do need to charge, the 3A charger gets you back up fast.
Fat Tires for Any Terrain
The 20" x 4.0" puncture-resistant fat tires give you a stable, planted ride whether you're on pavement, gravel, dirt, or wet streets. Combined with the 100mm front suspension fork, bumps and cracks in the road simply disappear beneath you.
Stop When You Need To
TEKTRO TKD171 hydraulic disc brakes deliver instant, consistent stopping power with the lightest touch. Whether you're loaded up with cargo or flying downhill, you're always in control.
Built for Portland Roads
The Scoria is IPX6 waterproof across the entire bike — not just the battery. That means you're covered for Pacific Northwest rain, puddles, and everything in between. Ride year-round with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Scoria good for commuting in Portland? Absolutely. The Scoria was built for exactly this kind of riding. It handles city streets, bike lanes, hills, and wet pavement without missing a beat. The 80-mile range means you can ride all week on a single charge, and the compact 20-inch frame makes locking up and navigating traffic easy. It's one of our most popular bikes with daily commuters.
Can I ride it in the rain? Yes. The Scoria carries an IPX6 waterproof rating across the entire bike and an IPX7 rating on the battery specifically. Portland rain is no problem — this bike was designed for year-round riding in exactly the kind of climate we have here in the Northwest.
How much does it weigh and is it hard to carry? The Scoria weighs 82 lbs, which is on the heavier side for an e-bike — but most riders never need to lift it. The motor does the work when you're riding, and the low center of gravity makes it easy to push and maneuver when you're not. If you need to carry it up stairs regularly, come in and we'll talk through your options.
What's the real-world range? Mokwheel rates the Scoria at 60–80 miles per charge. In our experience, most Portland riders on flat to moderate terrain with pedal assist get solidly in that range. Heavier loads, hilly routes, or heavy throttle use will bring it closer to the 60-mile end. Using a lower assist level and pedaling more will push it toward 80.
Does it come fully assembled? Every Scoria we sell at Mokwheel Portland leaves the shop fully built and professionally inspected by our mechanics. We don't hand you a box — we hand you a bike that's ready to ride, fitted to you, with all accessories installed.
What kind of warranty do I get? The Scoria comes with Mokwheel's standard 2-year manufacturer warranty. When you buy from us at Mokwheel Portland, you also get our dealer warranty on top of that. If something goes wrong, you call us directly — no hold queues, no overseas support lines. We handle it.
Can I try it before I buy? Always. We encourage every customer to test ride before committing. We'll let you take it around the block, or even take it home for a couple of days to ride in your own neighborhood. If it's not the right fit, we'll find you something that is.
What if something breaks after I buy it? Call or text us. We'll troubleshoot with you over the phone, and if it needs to come in, our mechanics will get it sorted — usually without charging you anything if it's a new bike. We've been doing this long enough to fix most issues same-day.
Can I finance it? Yes. Mokwheel offers financing through Klarna and Affirm, with 0% interest options available. You can split the cost into manageable monthly payments at checkout with no hidden fees.
Is the Scoria right for me if I'm a beginner? It's one of the best beginner bikes we carry. The low standover height, stable fat tires, and torque sensor make it forgiving and confidence-inspiring from day one. Come in, take it for a spin, and see for yourself — most first-time riders are surprised by how natural it feels within the first five minutes.
