TARMAC
Speed meets precision. A lightweight 750W electric road bike built for fast, agile riding on Oregon streets and paved trails — 28 MPH, Shimano 10-speed, and up to 70 miles per charge.
The hardest part of your first e-bike isn't the price. It's the risk.
Buy an e-bike online and it shows up in a box with no one to call, no one to fix it, and no way to try it first. We build the fix into the purchase — every Tarmac comes with three things free.
Ride It Before You Buy
Walk in and throw a leg over any bike on the floor — no appointment, no deposit, no pressure. Helmet and orientation provided.
Free test rides · Portland & EugeneProBuild Assembly
Our techs run a 25-point build: every bolt torqued, brakes and gears dialed, electrical checked, supervisor sign-off — fenders and rear rack fitted too. No cardboard box, no guesswork.
Included with every Tarmac14-Day Ride-Ready Return
Take it home, ride your own neighborhood and hills for two weeks. Swap models or return it if it's not the one — just talk to us.
Risk-free, right here in OregonFast, agile, and built to keep pace.
The Tarmac is a road-focused electric bike: a strong 750W motor, real Shimano gearing, and a light aluminum frame that carves through city streets and paved trails. Here's how it comes together.
750W · 920W Peak
75Nm of torque launches you off the line and up Portland climbs without breaking a sweat. Strong, smooth, and eager.
Shimano 10-Speed
A real 10-speed cassette gives you the right gear for flats, headwinds, and hills — pedal power that works with the motor, not just the throttle.
28 MPH Class 3
Pedal-assist up to 28 MPH keeps you moving with traffic on commutes and open road, not lagging behind it.
Up to 70 Miles
A 48V battery delivers 60–70 miles per charge. Ride all week on a single top-up, rain or shine.
80mm Front Fork
A suspension fork soaks up cracked pavement, curbs, and gravel detours so the ride stays smooth and controlled.
Hydraulic Disc
Hydraulic disc brakes give confident, all-weather stopping power. Wet leaves, gravel, wet pavement — no drama.
27.5" x 2.4"
Larger 27.5-inch wheels roll fast and hold a line, while 2.4-inch tires add grip and comfort on rough city surfaces.
6061 Aluminum Alloy
A lightweight, stiff aluminum frame keeps the Tarmac agile and responsive — easy to handle, easy to live with.
Fenders + Rear Rack
Fenders and a rear rack come fitted, so it's set up for real-world commuting and errands from day one. IPX4 weather rating.
Road performance, spelled out.
A strong motor, real gears, a suspension fork, and enough range for a full week of commuting. The Tarmac is built to keep up.
Peaks at 920W · 75Nm torque.
Real gears for real climbs.
Soaks up rough pavement.
Keep pace with traffic.

Three colors — Phantom Black, Marine Blue, and Pine Green — in two frame sizes, Standard and Large. Come into either store and we'll help you find the right size and fit.

Yes — free test rides are available at both our Tualatin (Portland area) and Eugene stores. Walk in, no appointment needed. Ride it and feel the 750W motor and Shimano gears in real conditions before you decide.
Do I pay more than buying online?
No. As an authorized Mokwheel dealer we sell the Tarmac at the same price as the online store — $1,699 — on purpose. The difference is what you get for it: a bike that's professionally built and tuned, a free test ride, and a local team behind you. Same price, ready to ride today.

Yes — 0% APR financing through Affirm, around $106/month on the Tarmac. Check your rate without affecting your credit score. Ask us in-store or use Affirm at checkout.
What does "ProBuild" mean?
Every bike goes through a 25-point professional build before it leaves the store — normally a $99 service, free with your Tarmac. We torque every bolt, align the brakes and gears, fit the fenders and rack, check all the electrical, and a supervisor signs off. You ride out on a bike that's ready, not a half-assembled box.
What's your return / exchange policy?
You've got 14 days to return or exchange. Take it home, ride your own neighborhood and hills — if it's not the one, come talk to us early and we'll make it right.
What warranty does it come with?
Mokwheel's 2-year manufacturer warranty covers the frame and electrical components. As your authorized local dealer, we're your point of contact — you don't ship your bike anywhere or figure it out alone.
Do you service the Tarmac at your stores?
Yes. Our Tualatin service center handles tune-ups, brake work, tire changes, drivetrain and battery diagnostics, and more for Mokwheel bikes. Eugene customers can schedule service too — call ahead to confirm availability.
